This book was so manic, it grated my nerves. To tell you the truth I only read 3 chapters and had to delete it. Sorry, but not very interesting.
I love quirky characters and this book sure had an abundance of them! Sometimes it drug out a little for me, but overall I liked the book and found it amusing!
I loved this book! Light hearted and did not take itself too seriously, just as the author intended. I had genuine laugh out loud moments and it was a great relaxing read, which after all is sometimes just what you need after a hard day of real life.
I laughed out loud reading Hotter than Ever, but Too Hot to Hold is even funnier! I actually look forward to mundane occasions like getting my oil changed or waiting at the doctor's office so I can enjoy my Middle Aged Hottie books. The only problem is trying to stifle my out-loud laughs in public. I was literally gagging and crying real tears trying to suppress genuine joyful hysteria while reading Linda's Cousine's newest volume the last time I got my car fixed. But totally worth it! Reading her books is more fun than I can possibly express here If you have any issues, concerns, dread about your own fading beauty, or middle aged craziness, then the Middle Aged Hottie series will undoubtedly be your favorite companion! Linda Cousine allows us to remain sexy and sassy throughout our aging while we laugh and enjoy what we can still have, do, and be even now as we are older. Buy her books, if you are a woman of any age who has a sense of humor, you will enjoy them! I can't wait for the next one!
This story had me laughing, crying, and in utter awe. It was so real. The characters were amazing...even the little monkey who was a thief. The whole storyline had you where you didn't want the story to end but you knew it had too. A must read...Great read
I started reading the book. We have a ex-supermodel grandmother driving a beat up BMW yet she is capable of giving a million dollars to a hospital to help women look better so they will feel better. Her husband is a wrestler who has apparently wound up on the mat too many times. She has been in rehab and stays on meds.....
This is funny? I guess I just didn't get it. I quit reading. I found it depressing. Oh, our heroine also slept with her daughter's 27 year old boss. Not sure when that happened but the daughter is still pissed about it. Even though she has apparently married and has a child.
Strange. I guess you will have to read this one for yourself and decide if you like it or not. It just wasn't for me.
Okay...I rarely write reviews but I had to in this case. As I sat in my son's school parking lot, waiting to pick him up, laughing so hard I was crying, it became obvious that I had to share what a great story this was. This story had me laughing out loud the entire way. The author truly allowed us into the crazy world of Lexi and it was worth the ride. I highly recommend this book. It is a keeper and I have a new author to add to my favorites list.
